From Content to Consulting: I’m Now Helping Clients with EAA Compliance

I’ve read through the European Accessibility Act (EAA) so many times while creating guides, articles, and videos that I’m considering publishing a book at this point. After establishing a YouTube channel dedicated to helping people understand the EAA and publishing numerous written resources, I’m now opening up my resources to include consulting.

How I Can Help with EAA Compliance

My consulting services address the practical challenges organizations face when moving from understanding the EAA to implementing it within their business context.

Compliance Assessment

I can assess what boxes you have checked and what remains to be worked on.

Implementation Strategies

I can work with your organization to develop practical implementation strategies both on the technical and administrative side of EAA compliance.

Interpretation

The EAA can be confusing when it comes to how it applies to your specific situation. I can help you understand what the law actually requires for your products and services.

Coordination

EAA compliance involves your legal team, developers, designers, and business stakeholders. I can help get everyone on the same page about what needs to happen and who’s responsible for what.

My Background

I’m a licensed attorney in Texas who has 7+ years experience in digital accessibility and compliance. I published The ADA Book to help organizations understand ADA compliance for the digital world and recently I published Digital Accessibility and Compliance to help organizations understand how to comply with digital accessibility laws.

In 2024 and 2025, I have spent considerable time studying Directive (EU) 2019/882 and have already consulted with clients on best practices for EAA compliance, but want to invite consulting engagements with more clients.

Who This Is For

This consulting is for organizations that need to understand their EAA obligations and figure out how to meet them. That includes software companies, e-commerce businesses, digital service providers, and anyone else offering products or services covered by the EAA.

Whether you’re just starting to look at EAA requirements or you’re already working on compliance but need help with specific issues, I can provide guidance tailored to your situation.
